VTO visits Snorkelers Cove, Iririki Island Resort

On 22nd January 2013, VTO's Information officer, Ms Aurianne Litoung and Cyriaque VTO student trainee, went on a site inspection at Iririki Island Resort where  they were warmly greeted and met by the resort's guest relations manager Ms Melissa Itorma. The group's first stop was at Guest Relations where guests book tours, access wireless internet and browse through a souvenir shop, then the group moved to Michener’s Restaurant which carries a spectacular view across Port Vila harbour. Here, Melanesian Feasts are held very Tuesday where guests watch cultural dances and  try the traditional Bougnia or local food baked in an earth oven, ending with kava tasting. Ms Itorma then led the duo to the resort's Garden View Fare, Waterfront View Fare, Apartments, then onto Snorkelers Cove where brief stops were made at the sunset pool, pool bars, and activity sites. The Watermark Restaurant was also visited where special functions from large corporates to small private dinners take place. The VTO would like to acknowledge Iririki Island Resort Management for inviting VTO's Information Officers to the resort.
