This year’s international delegates include 55 registered buyers across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Fiji, USA, Europe, Asia, and several media companies. Locally, the VTO has registered 50 seller companies from Port Vila, Espiritu Santo, Tanna, and the outer islands. Next week, the VTO will assemble 30 scheduled meetings for every registered buyers and sellers to run for 1 ½ days, followed by afternoon tours and famils for buyers, giving wholesalers an opportunity to experience the range of tours that continue to appeal to Vanuatu’s tourist market. Adding to this year’s Tok Tok program are the fun filled soft outer island adventures Vanuatu is known for. Buyers are highly encouraged to take the short flights to either Tanna or Espiritu Santo.
The VTO has organized great itineraries with the Tanna and Espiritu Santo Tourism associations; “Buyers can experience Vanuatu’s real competitive advantage by visiting Tanna or Santo ” comments Merian Numake, chairlady of the TAFEA Tourism Council. The VTO would like to wish all delegates a successful Tok Tok and acknowledges operators for the ongoing support towards the annual event. More updates coming soon.
