Mr. Laloyer said Air Vanuatu’s new on board experience, including international standard duty free, improving meals and attentive cabin crew service is just part of the overall upgrade of services.
“We have also re-launched our website which is now easier to navigate and offers a one-stop shop to book flights, accommodation, car rental and even travel insurance online.
“And in an effort to get away on time, we’ve also trialed and installed online check in facilities for all international and some domestic flights as well,” he said.
Mr. Laloyer said further improvements to the website will be available shortly, including the option to change flights online. Passengers will also receive flight updates via email or SMS as an added complimentary service.
“Research tells us more and more people plan and book online, so we need to offer that service to our passengers. Being able to change tickets online will also reduce the need for passengers to make an extra trip in to our offices as well.”
For local customers in Vanuatu, a new toll-free number will also come in to service this month for both TVL and Digicel customers.
“Air Vanuatu is the only full service airline flying to Vanuatu from Australia and New Zealand with highly competitive fares and no hidden extras. We enjoy receiving feedback from our frequent flyers and this feedback has and always will prompt service upgrades, so we thank our passengers for that.”
