The 2014 Service Professional of the Year ( SPoY) Award is another exciting event that will be held in conjunction with the Salon Culinare on Monday 20th to 24th October. The organizing committee is appealing to all waiters, waitresses, coffee & cocktail makers, chefs at all level, and bar tenders that it’s time to start sharpening those skills and get your entries in before the closing date September 30th (next Tuesday).
The Service Professional will show skills in three events; Barista, Cocktail, and Service and the overall score will be weight across all three. To sign up for SP0Y, the fee is 4500vt and alongside the Salon Culinare, another highlight is the Waiters Race which is also included in the entry form. The Waiter’s race is not a compulsory event for SPoY but it's a fun competition. All registration forms and fees are to be taken to the APTC Administration Office or The Vanuatu Chefs Association at Chantilly’s on the Bay.
